How to measure distortion if it was speech signals?

Hi,

For sine wave, it's relatively easy to observe distortion (using THD, SINAD, etc...)  However, for speech signals, is there some analysis for measuring distortion?

I am not aware of any definition of distortion for a complex signal. Usually distortion measurements are applied to the apparatus (amplifier, mixer, etc.) rather than the signal itself. If you know the system transfer function (which would include the non-linear distorting effects), then you could calculate the effect of passing your complex speech signal through the system.

If you can explain more precisely what you are trying to do, someone can probably help.
