How to install LV 8.2 by buying LV 2010?

Hello,

what are the correct steps to install on a new PC a labview 8.5-version (or any older version)?

I only can buy the newest labview 2010-version in the store. But i need to install LV-8.5!

Are the licence-codes compatible of both version? Or what do i have to do to activate LV-8.5?

Is this "legal" with the software-contract to bu a new version and install an old version?

You should be able to install any older version after purchasing LV2010.  Contact your NI rep in your area and request it.  I originally purchased LV2009 and was able to procure LV 7 for our older systems.
