How to get number of processor present ?

Is there a simple Vi or function to retrieve the number of processor/core present on the PC (Windows XP) ?

Hi Eddy,

there is a .NET function in the mscorlib.dll -> System.Environment.ProcessorCount.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.environment.processorcount.aspx

Hope it helps.

Hi Eddy,

in this link you will find such a function (presented last year on German LV8.5 day)...

It's a vi ("Get Number of CPUs.vi" ) accessing a LV core dll function and is used in the multicore demonstration.
