How to draw line of best fit?

Hi Ruben

If you replace the "Write to Decimal String" with a "Write to Fractional String" this should give you the functionality you require.

You can set the number of decimal places by wiring a constant/control to the "Precision" input; the default is 6.

Does this solve your issue?

The examples above are still a little convoluted. All you need is formatting the two fit parameters, e.g. as follows.

(Attached VI is in LV 8.0, snippet is in 10.0).

Note that if you use the correct format, the "+" is nicely replaced by "-" if the offset is negative. Modify as needed.

Thanks Altenbach,

Yes it solves the issue of the '-' and '+' signs in front of the 'C' value.

Thank a lot and appreciate your help!

Ruben
