I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. In order to get the second character you enter the code exactly as you did for the first character. For instance, if you change your control to codes display you currently have \E4. To display this character three times the code would be \E4\E4\E4.
If this isn't what you're wanting explain your problem a little further.

Yes. you are correct. I made a mistake here.
Since I am doing a multiple lianguage support project with the current windows regional setting as Chinese, the attached VI won't work. After changing the regional setting back to English, everything works fine. Thanks a lot.
