That's really more of a Microsoft Windows question rather than a LabVIEW question.

You need to do some googling to figure out how to set up a network where you computer acts as a bridge between the small private network to you cRIO and the wireless network you have going to the internet.

This will get you started with setting up the crossover connection:

As for turning your desktop into a gateway for the cRIO, I've never tried it but this might work for you:

Please let us know how it goes!

I have one problem connecting cRio to my computer via Cross Cable. I have Windows Vista and probably it will be the problem because one computer of the University works with Windows 2000 and it works well. I connect it but the programm doesn't recognize them. Max is enable to pass the firewall.

Thank you

bidegainin-

Is your cRIO showing up in MAX?  If not please review the following document.

Does your system have multiple Network Cards such as a laptop with a wireless card in it?  If so please review the following document.

Thank you, now CRio appears on the MAX. But I have a new problem.

Now I can't work with it. If I launch LabView Software and try an empty project and select a Real time project on "Targets", I can't find any Real time desktop clicking rigth button on the project <New<Target and devices....

Why?

Thank you

Sounds like you need to install NI-RIO.  The latest version is 3.4.

What version of LabVIEW do you have and what version of RIO did you install?

Thanks,
