I used the LV 7.1 before. And there was a function under "tool/instrument/update VXI plug&play drivers" to complie a new driver. Where is this function now in the new LV 8.6?
There's no such menu item in a stock LabVIEW 7.1 install. You must have had a tool installed after the fact. I'm guessing this was related to IVI instrument drivers? If so, you should get the updated tool from NI. You should also check to see if there are native LabVIEW drivers for your instrument in the Instrument Driver Network.
