Hey, no frowny faces. Just trying to help.
In my opinion, fancy GUI buttons is a matter of busy work, and my thought was that the focus of the thread was not on GUI.
Well, I was thinking to build my own SFP software with my name mater marked on it Then this thread popped up, gave me a hope to get everything ready by you guys..
Anyway, it was just a hope
@Partha,

Vsh,
Regarding the GUI and making a pseudo-SFP, doesn't it just come down to making a control that looks like the relay you're using? See attached ctrl that I made from screen captures of open and closed relays on the SFP...
(see next reply for ctrl)

It would be just another easy task, thought we might have to consider the number of relay images to be copied and imported, and the amount it takes to code it.
Anyway... nice work on the ctl.

Richard,
I have LV 8.5.1, but it has 6 states for Custom images.
Can you please explain how?

Hmmm, I don't know. I just pasted two images, one for True and one for False. I have no idea why those other images would be there. When you place the control on a VI, does it behave correctly?

It looks like NI uses a picture control for the images of the switch types.
EDIT sorry didn't realize it was an old post.

I have stumbled across the forum about using relay switches and found the Set Relay Card.VI, posted here very helpful. Is there a way to output the status of each relay with time (open or close) into a excel file? I tried using certain 'write to' functions but they aren't working as intended. Thank you.
