How to choose the trigger signal in NI-SCOPE Express

How to choose the trigger signal in NI-SCOPE Express:

When I run NI-SCOPE Express VI, I choose Trigger type (Digital), Source (PFI 1),

Slope (Positive), and Delay (0).  The trigger signal is come from PXI-5412

(Function Generator).

When I use the other function generator, how to choose the Trigger type?

There are 6 choices (immediate, edge,¦digital..). I tried them. Only the type of

(immediate)works. But it is not sync with the signal. The other 5 choices do not

work. (The other function generator usually sends out a trigger signal for an

oscilloscope). Which kind of trigger type can be used?

Are you physically routing the PFI line from the FGEN? You could actually route the signal on the backplane using the PXI_Trigger lines. You need to export the trigger from the FGEN and set up the trigger for the scope on the PXI_Trigger line.
