Most microphone specification sheets has sensitivity reference to 1 kHz, however, the microphone I am using has the sensitivity reference to 250 Hz.
I place a DAQ-Assistant in my block diagram. I choose to acquire signal >> sound pressure. Then, I have to key in the maximum output (dB), Excitation Current, sensitivity etc. I believe the sensitivity is reference to 1 kHz, how can I change it to 250 Hz to match the values of the specification sheet I have.
I have a calibrator with me that produces a 114 dB tone at 1000 Hz. When I measure the tone with my microphone, the output is not at 10.2 Pa (~114 dB). This means the sensitivity value I entered is wrong.
Thank you.
