How to calculate the standard deviation of an waveform?

I am using labview 6.1. I am taking data from a device as a waveform. Then I want to calculate the standard deviation of that wave. But the result shows "NONE" if I am setting the weighting to sample and showing 0 if I am setting the weighting to population. Can any one please help me to figure out the problem and how to calculate the standard deviation of the waveform.

Thanks in advance.

with regards

I have not used Labview 6.1 for a long time. But the input to the SD VI is an array. Go to help->find examples and then search for Noise Statistics. Then open the Noise Statistics.vi It will show you how to use the SD function

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)
