How to auto-restart an application?

Solved!

Hi, I think you should try with this one (works for me):

Spoiler
taskkill /F /IM ChkRestart.exe && "D:\CSWrite\CheckRestart\EXE\ChkRestart.exe"

Hi,
I got the same issue and here is the solution I used.

In my Labview program I write a .bat file with the folowing text (it's a text file with a bat extension) :

taskkill /IM "[Application].exe"
timeout 2
"[Application Path].exe"

(I wait 2 seconds before closing the app then start it over, you can change it the a shorter or longer timing.)
When I want to restart the .exe I just call this .bat file with "System Exec.vi" and it does all the work by itself.

If you guys got another idea, feel free to share it.
Have a nice day 😉
