How to access database using Active automation open control

Hi folks,

I am using Labview 8 Evaluation software , wherein i am trying to build an application to access Microsoft Access . my questions are :

1) Is it possible to do this using Labview 8 Evaluation software ?.

2) If , so please give me the procedure for it .

3) Can it be done using ActiveX Automation to open or using DDE , But i m not able to find DDE control in any of the Function palatte

See this. ActiveX is slow and requires the installation of Access. DDE functions are still shipped but that technology was made obsolete by Microsoft many years ago.
