How does LabVIEW handle I/O, Interrupt, DMA issues?

I hope to use LABVIEW to develop a software for my data acquisition (DAQ)
system (an ISA card in a PC. It is not a commercial DAQ card. I developed
by myself for a special purpose). I read some books about LabVIEW, but I
don't know how LabVIEW handles these issues?

1 Input/output a byte/word from/to an I/O address (for example 0x300)
2 Interrupt
3 DMA

IMHO LV doesn't work with interrupts and DMA. But you can easily write these functions in VisualC for example and collect them in DLL. Then you can use this DLL in LabVIEW.
Actually I think that you can find such DLLs in the internet or in NI DEveloper Zone.
