How do you write to excel

Is there a tutorial that explains how to transfer data to excel?

I have not looked for such a tutorial, but there is a lot of information on this very website. This place has a whole bunch of them, but there are also videos and more. This is also a good place to start.

In general this is what you can do:

1. use write to spreadsheet file functions and give the file the .xls extension
2. buy the office toolkit add-on for labview
3. get exotic and use "windows scripting" to control excel. Easier than it sounds.

Have fun,

Another neat trick is to use a comma as a delimeter and save the file as a .csv file. This is a default Excel file and will open straight into Excel.
