How do you communicate through labview with a device that used MODBUS RTU??

Hi, i'am wanting to use labview to communicate to my eurotherm. Which use's modbus RTU, anyone know how to do this? or how modbus RTU works??

You will want to download the modbus library from NI.

Also look at the documents at www.modbus.org which describe the commands and register formats.  http://www.modbus.org/specs.php

try searching the forums and the NI website for modbus info. There is a great deal of info and examples in the forums. This question gets asked at least a dozen times a month. Also download the NI Modbus library to make things much easier.
