How do I selectively indent text in HTML reports?

I am creating a report in HTML, and need to indent several lines of text. Is there a way to do this in the 7.1 full package? I can do it in a printed report using spaces or tabs, but the HTML routines seem to filter these out.

Hi Rwil,

I think that the behavior you are seeing is simply a characteristic of HTML.  To quote the document linked below, you can't use tabs in HTML "because HTML is a language for expressing content, not formatting."  There are several workaround, however.  One of the easiest is to use several non-breaking spaces (&nbsp;) to create the indentation.  You also can use preformatted text with the <pre> tag.

Check out this help document, Making a tab in HTML: Why there isn't an HTML tab tag, and what can you do about it?:  http://htmltab.kb-creative.net/

I hope this helps!  Please post if you have any further questions.
