How do I save multi tabbed VI to open on the first tab

I have a VI with 9 tabs when I open the VI it defaults to the 4tab. I have clicked on 1st tab and saved it , hoping it would open on the 1st tab.

Have you right click on the tab control and set the value to the default?

You could write the value 1 to the tab control from the block diagram.
