How do I not install NIDAQ 7.x with V7.1 Labview

At what point in the instalation of Labview 7.1 do prevent the instalation from installing NIDAQ 7.x? The instalation comes to a screen where different device drivers can be selected. Which ones must not be installed to avoid conflicts with NIDAQ 6.9.3? Due to the hardware I am using, I have to run NIDAQ V6.9.3.

You shoudl be OK to use the 7.1 drivers. What NI is now calling the "Traditional DAQ" is really just NI-DAQ 6.9.3.

If you really want to use the older 6.9.3 drivers, at teh bottom of the install selection screen is the node to deselect the entire driver install. Click on the pull down box and select, "Do not install". That should do it.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

I recall there's a checkbox at the bottom of the LV custom install
settings that allows you to not install device drivers. That may
still bring up a dialog though that asks for that CD. I've just
Canceled that dialog.
