How do I make terminals?

Hello,

I am having a problem. I need to make a subvi, which will do calibration.
It needs to have its own front panel come up which displays a few values.
The problem is, I have made the numeric output, but this output needs to
be calculated from an analog/digital board. So, I need to have the vi to
make the board work, and make it have a terminal that will output the walues
it gets out of that subvi, thenI need a terminal out of the entire calibration
subvi to go to the calculation subvi, and a terminal input to get the calculated
values back into the calibration subvi for display. I am probably not being
clear, but I just want to be able to use values that are in one sub vi, I
want them to be able to be output by a terminal to
be used elsewhere, and
I don't know how to do it. Thanks for any help.

Not quite sure I grasp this but here goes.
To pass values from one VI to another they need to have Indicators on the
front panel. These have to be tied the terminals of the vi. Once you have the
Controls / Indicators on the front panel , Right click on the Icon of the VI's
Front panel
(in the upper right corner) and select "Show Connector". This will show the number
of terminals
that matches the number of Controls / Indicators on the front panel.

Select the Wiring tool and click on one Control or Indicator and then click on one
of the
terminals in the Connector pane. This will allow the indocator to pass its value to

another VI when they are wired together.

IF this is not what you are asking please forgive me and ask again.

If i understand you right:
On the front panel of the VI right click with the mouse on the icon
(up right) and select "Show connector".
If you want more connectors available for later additions or want them
arranged another way right click again and select "Patterns"
