How do I increase Resolution of IMAQ FFT?

Hi,

I'm using IMAQ to retrieve realtime images from my firewire CCD camera and using the IMAQ FFT to Fourier transform them. The problem is that the resolution in the FT output is not good enough. Does anyone know of a way to improve this?

What do you mean by improve the resolution on your FFT? This is going to be dependent on resolution and bit depth of your camera.
I would also suggest re-posting this on the Machine Vision forum, as there will be a greater chance of someone being more knowledgeable on this there.

I meant the number of sampling points to provide a smoother output. I have now managed though to construct my own 2D FFT which allows me this flexibility.
