How do I get decorations to move?

Hello all,
I'm pretty new to LabView, and to these forums.  I just finished the Basics 1 and 2 instructor led course.

I've been tasked to create a large, relatively complex UI at work. One of the things I'd like to have in the UI is moving arrow's showing the direction of flow in pipes.

I know there is a way to access the property and invoke nodes of a decoration that is inside a tab control.  I'd like to be a ble to get them to blink at a controlable rate, or move in a spacific direction, or even better, move through a pre-detirmined path.  I appreciate the help, thanks again.

Will be using FPGA's, and PLC's as my DAQ System in my current project ... not really sure how I will integrate it with LabView

Yes, there is a way to move a decoration (see attachment). But from what you are saying there is a better solution. Create a custom slide indicator that has an arrow for the slider image. In the past NI shipped examples that had boxes sliding down a conveyor belt, and even a horse-race game. All you have to do is use the control editor to paste a new image into the slider.

The custom slide indicator is an effective and simple solution. Another alternative is to use the picture ring and simply cycle through the images. There's an example on NI called "Animate" that is a simple example.
