This button opens a dialog to insert an image.  You need to find hosting on your own, though.

Now I understand.  I was using Opera and I don't see it like this.  Anyway here it is.  On the first image, you can see the fiber optic clearly when using snap.  The two others image is when I use grab.
Thank you for your help.

From the screenshots it looks like the lines are moving up during the grab.  Is this true?  What may be happening is the acquisition height may not match what the camera is sending.  Another possibility may be the CLAMPs.  This Knowledgebase describes that possibility.

Your are right that the lines are moving up and down.  Just like when we were kids and the TV was out of HSync.   I'll check what is the acquisition height of the camera is set and what MAX acquisition height is set.  I don't understant how my grab acquisition could change after a while.  It's worth the shot.

As for the Clamp,  I've already check that, but I'll take a look again.

Hello, Since the last time i've post, the problem is randomly occuring about 3-4 times a day. Do you think that moving the acquisition card into another slot could solve the problem? I've give it a shot yester day, but it jammed the computer. I didn't get to the boot menu. do I have to: 1. close the computer 2. remove the acquistion card 3. boot the computer 4. close the computer 5. insert the acquisition card 6. boot the computer Thank you,

Coolaid,

This is definitely a weird error that you are seeing in your acquisition.  Have you tried the card in another computer?  If everything is functioning correctly with your card (and PCI-bus for that matter), then you should easily be able to power down, switch the card and start back up.  Do you have another framegrabber to try?  Is the card and PCI slot clear of any dust or debris?  Have you tried a different Analog Capture Cable?

Hello,  I have another problem that I've notice for a long time, but never related it to the PXI.   Sometimes, when it try to do an acquisition, the hole computer freeze.  We need to restart the computer several times before it reboot.  Today, the computer freeze again.  So I've tried to restart the computer, but it didn't want to reboot.  I then unplug the cable between the PXI Chassis and the computer.  The computer restart right away.  I replug the PXI chassis into the computer and it didn't want to restart again.  I've turn off and then on the PXI chassis to reboot it and the computer restart on the first try.

Could it be my PXI-8330, the PCI-8330 or the cable in between that is in trouble ?  Could this have a link with my horizontal lines acquisition problems?

Thank you everyone for your help.
