Help!!

Hi!

I have a PCI-7831R data acquisition board and I want to implement a scalar control of an induction motor using labview FPGA.

I need a little help!!

How can I implement the following scheme?? With this calculations and a Clarke transformation and using a SVPWM I'am  triyng to control

the motor.

How can I implement the integral operation in FPGA? And how can I generate an arbitrary signal (speed) in labview FPGA??

Oe can I do these inHost VI??

Thanks!1

Hi AdiTom,

Depending on the type of signal you are integrating you may be able to use the Discrete Normalized Integrator VI (Functions Palette » FPGA Math & Analysis » Control » Discrete Linear Systems). However if that won't fit for your signal then you will have to design the integrator yourself or offload that functionality to the Host VI.

To generate a signal you can look under the same owning palette but go into the Generation sub-palette instead of Control, and there you will find the Sine Wave Generator VI as well as the Square Wave Generator VI. If you want a different style of waveform, the easiest way to implement that would be with a look-up table of values that you could cycle through to generate the signal.

Peter W.

In the future please provide a better title than just "Help!!". Everybody on this forum is looking for "Help".
