Help setting up datasocket LAN

I have a very simple "setup" application running on my PC. I have two VI's one publishing and the other Subscribing to my Datasocket Server which is also on the same machine. This works fine.

However when I open up the second (the subscribing one) VI on a different machine, which is on the same network I cannot read back the value from the publishing VI.
In the Datasocket Server Manager I have the Default readers, writers and creators set to everyhost. The publishing maching is called "troyh" and my subscribing machine is called "benk" I found out these names as when I run the server, the name (IP address) is shown on the server graphic, e.g. "troyh.dublin.xxxxxx.com"

I believe I am doing something very simple wrong

Make sure you are putting in the correct URL to the item on datasocket. Remember that it is case sensative and that spaces in the URL will also throw it off. Also, try having the publisher publish a value before the reader tries getting a value.
