Help! how can i translate waveform data via network?

i want to translate the data acquired by soundcard,its type is waveform.The question is how i can translate is via network?

I only know to use tcp read and write vi and flattentostring and unflattenformstring.vi ,but i don't know to use them.

Can somebody help me!!!

Hi, catamount

you can first translate your waveform data in String Data type, and then you can transit it through TCP/IP Protocol.
