Help Understanding saving format

Solved!
Go to solution

Sorry about the long wait for response. I had to create a new one so the file formatted correctly. What had happen was someone messed up the file we were using so I went and just created a new one because no one knew how to fix it. What the programmer did when they created this labview program was saved the file in a .txt file. The only way it opened up properly was to open it in a MS Excel. I believe the txt file automatically did the delimited process because it separated the file into the proper columns and rows. I don't know how that works but that is what happened and it is crazy to me as well. I work with excel well and was just confused how that did that and i know about creating vba code to use the delimited files using commas mostly but I don't know how this happened. Short story version is I said heck with it made a new file at it has been working ever since.

ONE sheet of data, maybe delimited using tabs , commas or semicolons.
