Has anyone used NI's CAN interface and LabVIEW to make a CANOpen slave framework/template?
Making a simple master that read or writes a few objects is simple, but making a slave that supports everything from LSS, NMT, SDO and PDO would be a big job.
Anything that could jump-start such a development would be welcome.

I haven't used it, but NI sells a CANOpen library - if you're looking to avoid writing one yourself, it might be worth the money. There also appears to be an "Industrial Communications for CANopen" driver available for download, I don't know anything about the cost or licensing. A bit more information here: https://www.ni.com/en/shop/seamlessly-connect-to-third-party-devices-and-supervisory-system.html and https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P6yhSAC&l=en-US

Thanks nathand. Unfortunately all the existing code covers master-functionality. No one seems to have made a CANOpen Slave library.

Hello Mads,
did you found a CANOpen-Slave implementation for Labview ?
We are seaching one at the moment, too. And we are wondering that it seems there is still nothing available on the market 😞
