Hardware Security for LabVIEW Application

We are developing an application in LabVIEW and are interested in hardware security. Is there a particular dongle vendor that is known to work well with labview? Are there vendors that are known work poorly? Is it possible to integrate dongle calls into the application or is it necessary to use wrappers? What experiences do other users have?
