ors.I tested whether my program has any errors. I did this by connecting a cable from analog ouput channel 0 of DAQ to Analog input channel 0.(basically i am sending a signal from output channel to input channel within the DAQ)I ran the program and checked the output on analog input channel 0 on a scope. I didnt get any errors and the scopes showed the signal i am sending. That means, the program is sending the signals to channel 0 atleast, leave alone the receiving part.A pin of the cicuit board is connected to ch 0.when i run the same program and check the voltage at that pin, i cannot see any voltage. The signal isn't going at all....i canot figure whats happenin......plese help

Grab an ohmmeter and start tracing-out the runs from the connector to the probes in the bed-of-nails fixture.

As you described that when you dont connect anything on DAC0 channel of PCI-6040, you are getting the right voltage. But when you connect to your test fixture, no voltage appears there. I feel, test your signal output step by step, i mean that just try feeding DAC0 output to some other test fixture or uut, observe the issues. Or instead of feeding the DAC0 output directly to test fixture, feed it in one of the module if your test fixture is modular & can be separated into various parts or stages. I think you need to debug your test fixture on each stage of your votlage path.

Hope this works. Your feedbacks are welcome.
