Gilson Aspec XL

Hi

I am not sure this is the best board to post a question on this... 

I am looking for any help concerning the control of a Gilson Aspec XL : connection with RS 232 (what kind of serial cable, flow control ? , 8N1? ). 

I could not find these information in the manual.

Sometimes these types of devices that have RS232 control have a separate manual (different than the user manual) that covers remote access and programming.  Check the manufacturer's website for additional information.  You could also look on the Instrument Driver search and see if the manufacturer provides drivers.
