Hello,
I am newbie with PXI systems and I could use some help. I am working with Labview 11.0 and PXI system.
I want to remotely connect to the PXI system via Ethernet and send the devices that are on the PXI system.
I know how to get a DAQmx control to work on the PXI system but how would I get that info passed to my interface running on my laptop?
Thanks

What do you mean by Info?. Do you mean the data that you are acquiring in the PXI controller?. If that is the case the simple solution would using a shared variables and read the data in the Host.

Sorry I should of been more specific. I want to pass to the computer the types of cards plugged into my PXI chassis (see the attachment).
I finally figured out I am going to have to create a VI server on the computer connecting to chassis. Is that the easiest approach?

Hey G'ory88,
If you want to explore more way on how to programmatically discover cards in your PXI chassis, here is a great KB which explores several options: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000004B0jSAE&l=en-US
Hope this helps!
