Hi,

I have a problem with the Labview realtime environment. I have compiled an EXE version of a VI. The VI is used to control some equipment using GPIB-USB-B hardware converter (a small box that allows you to connect GPIB to a laptop computer for example. I have installed Labview Realtime and visa441runtime and it still does not work. Windows Vista searches for a driver but does not find one. Do I miss some component?

I think you mean LabVIEW runtime and not realtime. The two are very different.

In any case, you did not list NI-488.2 and that's an essential driver for a 488 controller.

Oups, you are right. I wanted to say runtime and not realtime ...

So I need to install Labview runtime and NI-488.2 in order to execute a compiled EXE Labview program, correct?
