GOOP wizard

I have labview 5.1.1 pro I think. Whatever the big one is that work bought.

I don't see a GOOP Wizard on my projects menu. Did I do something wrong in
the install or something not to see this? Any hints?

If I remeber rightly there is no GOOP in the package.
It is either a seperate purchase or a 3rd party (can't remember).

At least this is what my leaky mind tells me.

Ah beat me to the punch. I was going to reply to my posting. They didn't
make it entirely clear that goop.zip at that URL and goop.zip at the
zone.ni.com are completely different files. The latter is an example which
comes up on nearly every search, the former is what I wanted.

Still have a problem. Did the install with ProG 5.1.1. Didn't add itself to
my Project menu like it claimed it would.

Found the LLB and some other things so I'm going to screw around with it
directly, but still am not quite sure what I'm doing with it since it's not
working as-intended. Any hints on why it didn't add itself to the project
menu?

Duhhhhh... fixed my own problem yet again. Guess I shouldn't be so quick to
post.

The default location for the installer was C:\Labview5.1 which I assumed was
right. Nope. C:\ProgramFiles\NationalInstrument\Labview

it is definately among the least friendly installers ever. Doesn't offer a
Browse dialog for that path. I had to go figure it out, then cut and paste
it in. Not that it's impossible to do w/o browse, just an extra
user-friendly feature.

...not to mention programfiles is the default install location for LV5.1
anyway. Not quite sure why GOOP would therefore default to C:\Labview5.1

Anyway. It now works. thanks

Joey,

I am a big fan of the GOOP style of coding. If you want to check out an
example of a set of VIs I have made and found very useful on countless occasions
check out the following link:
