From CompactRIO, Detect broken link with computer

How to detect a broken link between  CRIO 9012 and a computer on the network?

I use a managed switch and a microwave bridge between both ethernet connections. I want to be able to store my data if the link is broken.

Hello Daniel,


You could use the TCP Listen function.  This should throw an error if there is no valid listener or if a network cable is unplugged.  These threads also provide other options that may work for this.
