menahk,

In order to acquire images in LabVIEW you would need our Vision Acquisition Software available on our website.  The software included in this package is our NI-IMAQ, NI-IMAQdx, and NI-IMAQ I/O drivers.  Once installed you would be able to run shipped examples found in the example finder under the Hardware Input and Output folder.  Our NI-IMAQdx driver supports USB cameras that use the DirectShow interface only.  It appears that the Point Grey ships there cameras with their standard FlyCapture driver which is not DirectShow compatible.  However,  they have the FlyStream Driver available for download on there website that implements the DirectShow interface and replaces the FlyCapture driver.  Once the camera is DirectShow compliant you will be able to acquire images in LabVIEW using the camera.  It is important to note that when switching over to the FlyStream driver you will no longer be able to use or compile any of the standard FlyCapture programs (e.g. flycap.exe) or examples, and the FlyCapture software API only works with the standard, non-DirectShow driver.

Using the FlyStream driver with support for DirectShow:  http://www.ptgrey.com/support/kb/index.asp?a=4&q=97

If you wish to perform image processing and machine vision algorithms in LabVIEW you will need our Vision Development Module.
