Feature request for resuming support on scripting system

We provide Labview Real-Time wrappers for our dll, which drives our hardware. Unfortunately, the automated C header wrapping system is insufficient for our needs, because it does not convert structs to clusters. We would also like to have more control over icons, etc.

Now we have to resort to manually editing hundreds of wrappers because the scripting feature cannot be licensed. This is very cumbersome and error-prone on its own, but apart from that, Labview is very unstable, crashes about 10 times on an average day and often corrupts the links between various files.

Ideally, we would like see the existing script system licensable again and/or the ability to generate VI nodes/wires from an XML file (not just Labview data).

Apart from the details that the scripting you are talking about has never been licensable and would only work in a LabVIEW development environment anyhow but not in the runtime, you would better put this in the Product Suggestion Center. The forums are a great place to pose questions and discuss things openly. But ideas posed here are not as easily going to make it into a database that gets queried by the powers to be when deciding about what to develop and release.
