Failure in resource.cpp using application builder. Line 2298 in version 6.0.2

Did not have problem before upgrading to v. 6.0.2 Any info on this error would be appreciated.

This error appears when checking the "Do not compress target file" option when building an application that uses NI's data acquisition VI's. The workaround is to not check that option in Application Builder.

National Instruments is currently looking into this issue.

I ran into this error also and was directed to this post. LabView 6.02 on Pentium III 900 mhz NT. Error also ocurred on Windows 98 machine. Unchecking the box lead to a successful build on both OS's.

This error exists in version 6.1 as well: Failure is reported at line 2477 in resource .cpp

The work around mentioned by Archimedes works for this version too. However, I am not using any of the data acquisition VI's. It seems to have occurred after I added a polymorphic VI to the project - (executable size about 3.3MB)
