FTP CLient Problems

Hi,

We have developped a small program that use the "put multiple file" sub
VI. It works fine from our office or on a dial up, but it does not work
as well on our client's network. The problem is quite strange.

Only on our client's network, the program will send correctly the files
starting from the third time. For instance, we start Labview and our
application, we try to send the file, we get the following error the
first two times we try to send the file (without closing Labview).

66 (TCP read xTP reply.vi) in the TCP read function.

On the third trial and all the trials affter, everything seems to work
fine. Another bizarre response is that even when we get the error
message, the login was succesful and the error appears o
nly when it
tries to send the file.

If we close LabView, we have to start the process all over again (we
will get the error twice before having the proper results).

Were are working on an NT workstation 4.0 SP4 which is connected to the
Internet through a Firewall (when we try with WinSock FTP, the firewall
does not cause us any problems).

Hi!

Sorry to say so, but I have the same trouble.

Have you tried to send either in active or passive mode?
Or have xyou meanwhile solved it? If yes, how?

Thanks

Andreas
