So I have just begun work with labview FPGA and my set-up is as follows: NI cRIO-9024 FPGA, NI 9512 module (stepper motor interface),

NI 9205 input module, and NI 9237. the project explorer under targets recognizes the NI 9205 and 9237,but not the NI 9512. whats even stranger is that a both are recognized devices under IP builder. So what might cause this to occure?

I hope you are doing great. Since the NI 9512 module requires high speed interface it only can be used on the first 4 slots of the backplane that you probably are using.

Could you tell which port of the cRIO you have connected this module.
