Did you mean:

FPGA mix mode

I want to use C-modules in different modes.

Analog measurements at the FPGA level and RS485 at RT for using Modbus library.

So, my question is: does it possible to use NI-9871 in scan mode?

I have a project. And if I enable FPGA mode, RS485 ports don't exist.fpga.PNG

Next, I do this instructions https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P7gZSAS&l=ru-RU

But RS485 ports don't exist again.

And only one way to get ports is enable scan mode, but I can't use FPGA level and have to work with analog data using DAQmx and I can't use FPGA for some calculations.

I have only ever used the 9871 in FPGA mode (the NI-serial option didn't exist back then).

Having said that, I thought it was OK to mix and match as long as there were enough DMA FIFO channels, if I remember correctly anything under scan mode consumed 2 DMA FIFOs.

On the old VXworks CRIOs that was painful.

What LabVIEW version and CRIO are you using? Edit : Just looked more closely at your pictures 🙂

Hi Deceased and thanks for the answer.

My second screenshot shows the result similar to your last recommendation.
The FPGA is in FPGA mode and RS module is in Scan folder. FPGA works correctly, but RS module do not.
