No. The CompileServer and Xilinx tools only work on Windows.

Hello,
This thread is quite old. Is it now possible to run CompileServer and Xilinx tools on Linux ?
Our company is equipped with a Linux Server Farm able to run ISE. I would like to use these ressources to compile LabVIEW FPGA VIs. Is there any solution ?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Seb

Same question here,
to set up a compile farm would be great without paying license fees for each worker machine

I started to use as LabVIEW/TestStand developing PC computer with Linux/Ubuntu. (64bits 3GHz i7 8 cores 12MB RAM)
I am using VirtualBox to run virtual Windows XP machines. For each version of NI soft one virtual machine. In VirtualBox you could attach host USB to virtual machine USB. It is working well.
And as FPGA compilation server I am using another virtual machine with 4GB RAM.

Hello D*,
The server stil has to be hosted on a Windows machine. Only Compile Workers can be Linux machines.
