I heard their is existing a Labview version for programming FPGA's. Does anyone know about this?

Yes, that's Labview 7.0, but it will be released in June

It is even more than a beta program, several pioneer setups are already distributed(sold) and we are playing with it.
It only works (at this moment) with a special measurement card called (RIO) and looks very promising.
There are some news items on the NI developer zone.
