Hi dan,

when you don't believe the (mighty :)) LabVIEW help you might create a simple FPGA VI, once with a known "free" function and once with Rotate. Then you compare their compilation results…

I currently don't need to know, I was just wondering if the help is correct since I think this is useful information. Since it is mentioned in the help for some functions this might seem like you can rely on the information, but I doubt that.

I'm going to stop the thread hijacking now, I just thought this information could also be useful in the device utilization statistics. And if it is added there it should be correct.
