FIFO creating questions

Is it possible to build a FIFO with type of n-dimensional arrays? I found RTFIFOCreate DBLA.vi. It is used to build DBL array which I asssume it is one dimensional array. but how about n-dimensional array? Since my application includes a mathscript node which will output a 3-dimensional array (size is 5x5x156). I want to put it in the FIFO.

I would suggest that you decompose the N-dimensional array into a 1-dimensional array and then if necessary recompose it back to its original form. You can either make use of the index array function so you get several 1-dimensional arrays or the reshape function that allows you to create a 1-dimensional array out of a N-dimensional array.
