Good day,
I would like to know how add an offset to a sinus wave. If I use the offset witch is proposed I can only set it to 50% of the sinus amplitude. So the évolution of the wave can only be between 0 and amplitude value. What I woud like to make is a sinus wave with an amplutide for exemple betwen 7.5 V and 8.5 V.
Is it possible ?
Thank in advance for anu help.
Best regards
Francis

May depend on the hardware model, have you checked the datasheet specifications to see if it is supported?

Thank for reply,
Sorry if my question is not smart. The hardware is PXIe-5433, I wonder that this hardware can't do this basic offset function.
Thanks again

And you are right, the datasheet says "the offset limit is ±50% of Amplitude Range (Vpk-pk)"
Do you think There is a better PXI card with better possibilities : I Need :
Générating Sinus, squarre, triangle and noise
Modify Fréquency, offset (a full offset) , amplitude and phase in live.
To work with 2 output chanels with synchronization betweem them.
The price is not a problem.
Thanks and best regards

When selecting instruments, one must specify the numbers you target to achieve, example, max frequency, phase resolution etc.,
In general, NI instruments lack certain features that other bench top instruments provide. So, if you're not careful in selection, you may end up with a hardware that is not capable of doing what you intend to.
