My name is Gilberto, I will start working with strain gauges, using the NI 9205 card, someone has worked with this card for this purpose, from how to make connections, limitations, how to make the programming, validation of the measurement chain, if You can work with full bridge gauges, 1/2 bridge or 1/4 bridge, in short every detail that this implies, I would appreciate if you share the advice and experiences in this regard, to be complemented with the tests you are doing. Hi Gilberto,

the NI9205 is a module to measure voltage signals.

When you want to measure (resistance) bridges you need to wire them on your own (in real life with real copper).

how to make the programming,

Depending on the chassis, where you plugin the NI9205, I would recommend either DAQmx or the ScanEngine.

Hi Gilberto,

when you use a cDAQ chassis you will use DAQmx.
