Execution performance differences

My application use the NI Teststand API incl. Application Manager and call a sequence. This sequence control a another CVI UI via DLL calls and write some data into a textbox and so on. The application and the DLL are developed with CVI 8.5. The Teststand version is 4.0.

The execution time for one test loop is 5.5 seconds.

If CVI IDE or Teststand SequenceEditor is running the execution time reduce to 4.2 seconds. I don't change any conditions. Only one of the IDE's is running.

Could anyone explain this phenomenon? Thanks a lot.

Thank you for your advice. I miss your answer...

Unfortunately I cannot delete this thread or move to the CVI board. But I think that no one can help me not even the Knights of NI.
