Executing Perl scripts in Labview on Windows

Is there anyway to execute perl scripts in LabVIEW on Windows using Cygwin just like Mathlab Script Node?

Try the System Exec function, found under the Communications subpalette.  You can try to use a command line string directly, or save it to a batch file and run the DOS batch file using the System Exec function.

Says it is ALPHA. You may need to talk to the developer (Jeffery Travis, VERY well known in LabVIEW community) and see if he has any more information about this.
