Hi falafes,

read the Excel worksheet (using RGT functions) and get column C as a string array…

So what do you have available?

Which LabVIEW version, which bitness, which toolkits?

Did you install the RGT (Report Generation Toolkit)?

You might even use "simple" ActiveX nodes to communicate/remotely control Excel!

I'm on 32 bit LV2017, I don't have RTG I just checked but it says that's for google sheets, will it still work on excel?

I have never heard of it associated with Google.  (Maybe it can handle that too.)

But it RGT = Report Generation Toolkit is definitely for Excel

Hi falafes,

when you installed the RGToolkit then you have its example VIs available in the example finder.

Did you explore them to learn how to use the RGT functions?

Whatever that is it is not from RGT as supplied by NI.

Where do you got this VI from?

GerdW
